80 Years of Memories
Birmingham Airport | Film
Birmingham Airport has celebrated many milestones in its 80 years. From being opened in 1939 as Elmdon Airport by the Duchess of Kent and swiftly becoming an RAF flying school, through to carrying over 13 million passengers a year today.
To celebrate the airport's birthday, we took people on a trip down memory lane and created a brand film about its most memorable moments and successes to date. By combining rhyme with old video footage and photographs, we created a sense of storytelling that truly brought the memories to life.
